NORDSTROMS

Nordstroms created a 2015 “POD TOUR” pop-up activation comprised of specially-designed mobile cubes that toured outdoor malls, college campuses and music festivals across the US. The three touring pods housed a make-over station, interactive photo booth and live screenprinting by HIT+RUN.

HIT+RUN printed over 2,500 custom tote bags daily at SXSW, Life is Beautiful Festival, San Diego State University, Chicago Food+Wine Festival, Stagecoach Music Festival, Kaaboo Music Festival, The Grove (Los Angeles) and McDowell Mountain Music Festival, most of which were multiple day events with very large attendance crowds.

It can be easy for brands to get lost in the enormity of music festivals, but live screenprinting consistently drew large lines and a select subculture of the general public, watchful artists, early adopters, gift hounds and other demographics that are hard to tag.
