Live Screen Printing Project With PORSCHE
LUFTGEKÜHLT, which means "air-cooled," refers to a vintage Porsche gathering that began in Los Angeles and has since expanded to popular events worldwide.
HIT+RUN is proud to have live screenprinted at the inaugural Luftgekühlt in Venice, CA back in 2014, and has been creating limited-edition, highly collectible posters at their cult-like events every year since! For the 10-year anniversary of Luftgekühlt sponsored by Porsche, they took over the Universal Studios backlots, providing the perfect backdrop to showcase stunning examples of air-cooled Porsche automotive excellence from 1948 to 1998. Throughout the years, the poster designs ranged from single-color to predominantly 2-3 color artwork, with some layers pre-printed in our studio and the final layer applied live. In 2024, we reached a personal best by pre-printing an 8-color poster, then adding the ninth color black plate live on top—bringing the total to ten colors when factoring in the paper color, perfect for their 10-year anniversary!
